Art is a way of capturing some aspect of life and distilling it into an object. Kinetic art is a way to cheat the usual difficulty of this task. Something that moves will always seem more alive than something still. The price for this shortcut is longevity. Motors burn out. Metal rusts. Batteries die. This is just a small piece about the self-destructive nature of systems.
